Dr. Laura Swaim, DC

Dr. Laura S. Swaim is a Board Certified Chiropractor and is Certified in the Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), of which she is also a member. She serves as Co-Director of The Roots Health Centers.

Dr. Laura grew up in a small town with her parents and four sisters. From a young age, care, compassion, and a love of serving were ingrained in her. She was inspired to become a doctor when she came to understand that true health is more than the absence of symptoms. She enjoys working with children, adults, and families.

Dr. Laura earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, at Gardner-Webb University. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University, where she graduated Cum Laude.

She has extensive clinical post-graduate training in pediatrics and prenatal care. Webster Technique Certification enables her to provide safe, effective chiropractic care to expecting mothers throughout their pregnancy. Dr. Laura is also Advanced Certified Proficient in Torque Release Technique and Certified in Auriculotherapy.

Drs. Logan and Laura were drawn to Lakewood Ranch and knew this was a community in need of natural health solutions. Since founding The Roots Health Centers, they've continually given back and stayed active in the community.
