Spinal Stenosis

Decompress the Nerves, Restore Mobility

Non-surgical care for spinal stenosis using FDA-cleared decompression therapy and corrective chiropractic to take pressure off compressed nerves and restore comfortable walking.

Understanding Spinal Stenosis

What It Is & Why It Happens

Spinal stenosis is the narrowing of the spaces in your spine that house and protect the spinal cord and nerves. As the canal narrows, those nerves get compressed — leading to pain, numbness, weakness, and the classic symptom of leg pain that gets worse with standing and walking but improves when you sit down or bend forward. Most patients are told their options are pain medications, epidural injections, or back surgery.

Our approach uses FDA-cleared spinal decompression therapy to gently create more space in the spinal canal, taking pressure off the compressed nerves and increasing blood flow to the affected area. We pair decompression with corrective chiropractic to improve overall spinal mechanics and red light therapy to reduce inflammation around the irritated nerve roots.

Stenosis is a structural problem, so it doesn't fully reverse — but the symptoms can improve dramatically with the right care. Most patients we treat get back to walking comfortably and avoid surgery entirely. The key is starting before the nerve damage becomes permanent.

Frequently Asked Questions

It can't be 'cured' in the structural sense — the bony narrowing is permanent — but the symptoms can improve dramatically. Decompression therapy and corrective chiropractic create more functional space and reduce nerve irritation, often restoring comfortable walking and avoiding the need for surgery.

Yes. Decompression is a gentle, low-force therapy that's well-tolerated by patients of all ages, including seniors. We adjust intensity to your specific tolerance and condition. Many of our stenosis patients are in their 60s, 70s, and 80s.
